The SawStop TSDC-8L is a Dado Replacement Brake Cartridge for original SawStop saws whose model number starts with "CB". The plastic housing of the cartridge has a clear colouring. The cartridge consists of a spring, fuse wire and brake pawl.
The TSDC-8L stops the blade, retracts the blade below the table surface in 1/200th (3-5 miliseconds) of a second, and shuts down the power for increased safety.
