SuperMax 16-32 drum sander

An excellent addition to my home workshop. Easy to assemble, set up, and use. Good instructions, belt changes are straightforward and take very little time. Good service and pricing at Marson. Highly recommended.

SuperMax 71632 16-32 Drum Sander

The Supermax 71632 seems well-built. The parallelism adjustment was straightforward and the sanding performance was satisfactory. The digital height gauge is handy although it is better used as a movement indicator (E.g. to move drum down 0.02") than as an absolute thickness indicator. A separate booklet was included to cover the operation of the height gauge but the mechanical configuration in the booklet differs from the sander, making some of the zeroing procedures invalid. Installing the sandpaper was pretty straightforward and I found it didn't really require the separate tool which was included to help. Dust removal was good with a 600 CFM airflow.
