Mirka's 6 Inch Rotary Electric Sander is a powerful and lightweight tool with smooth and quiet operation and excellent dust extraction. A versatile and easy-to-control tool, it excels in many applications and isn't prone to "dig". It is ideal for rapid material removal in applications such as woodworking, floor refinishing, construction, paint stripping, decorating, marine maintenance and refinishing, and automotive repair.

In use, the DEROS RS is remarkably quiet and vibration-free, making it comfortable - especially in extended periods of use. The rotary sander is designed for two-handed use, with one hand on the front grip and one on the extended body.

The simple-to-operate control panel allows adjustments to speed control and switching of modes - ramp-up and standard. When in ramp-up mode, the pad rotates slowly, then increases as pressure is applied, up to the pre-set speed. In standard mode, the sander runs continuously at the pre-set speed. In either mode, the LED speed indicators show the speed setting so you don't need to guess.
