Equipped with a readable depth scale in both millimetres and inches, you can quickly set and repeat plunge depths up to 50 millimetres. Spring-loaded supports make it easy to guide the drill, while the springs can be removed for specialized applications. The base plate includes holes for mounting the attachment directly to a workpiece or custom fixture, and rubberized feet provide stable, non-slip positioning during use.

For quick, tool-free bit changes, the MB 40 connects seamlessly to your Festool cordless drill via the FastFix interface and is fully compatible with the CENTROTEC system. Included accessories such as the parallel side fence, stop for end face holes, and guide rail adapter expand its versatility for repeatable, edge-parallel, or guided drilling across wide and long workpieces.

The integrated dust extraction port connects to a Festool dust extractor (dust class M, D 27 hose) for a clean work environment and an unobstructed view of the drilling point.
