The SawStop TSDC-8R2 is a Dado Replacement Brake Cartridge for next generation SawStop saws (saws whose model number starts with ICS, CNS, & PCS). The plastic housing of the cartridge has a blue colouring. The cartridge consists of a spring, fuse wire and brake pawl.
The TSDC-8R2 stops the blade, retracts the blade below the table surface in 1/200th (3-5 miliseconds) of a second, and shuts down the power for increased safety.
